In Loving Memory of a Good Bunny...

Yesterday was a sad day at our house. Our wonderful "funnybunny" was laid to rest in the shade of our peppermint peach tree. Funnybunny was a wonderful and unique bunny well loved by all of us here. Sadly, he was playfully mauled by London (our dog) and his little jaw was broken. We nursed him for several weeks, but he was unable to chew. It became obvious that he was suffering too much and wasn't getting better so we made an appointment with our vet to have him put to sleep. Saturday was the day. Funnybunny will be remembered for being cuddly, soft and cute. For never running away, even when I sort of wanted him to. For surviving a week long road trip in the car. For peeing on my lap during that road trip. For the cute way he would chew weeds. For kissing and playing with London. For coming in through the doggie door and eating dog food. For hopping up on the table and couch. For surviving a broken arm after getting thrown over the net of the trampoline. For his long floppy ears that drug on the ground and were so soft. For being sweet, smart and way too trusting of his friend, London. Funnybunny we will miss you.
